Studio Addition

Peak worked together with the clients to design a studio addition to their home in the Town of Marbletown, Ulster County, NY, working around site constraints that limited the footprint available for the addition. Peak developed building plans to obtain building permits and for construction purposes. The studio features cross gables, an abundance of windows to maximize natural light, central staircase to the dormer loft, and a step down into the main room. The design incorporates a chase for a future wood stove and a closet to store art supplies is tucked away under the staircase.
